About Me

Hi, I'm Angie, thank you for stopping by! I am a Colorado mom of four, dog mom of one, and lover of live and adventure. I am in my 12th year of teaching yoga.
When I am not teaching or practicing myself, you will find me on a trail with Luna or flying my hangglider. I spend as much time as I can with cool people, especially my kids, and I thrive on great conversation. Discussions of life and philosophy are my favorite. As a communicator with excessive thoughts constantly pouring out of my brain, I enjoy blogging and have recently delved into podcasting as well.
My own consistent yoga practice began 15 years ago when my trail life began to depend on it. My body was getting tighter and more unbalanced with age. High mileage and long days were exacerbating the situation. One day, a friend took me a yoga studio that I felt instantly connected with and I met the teacher who became my first guru. I had taken many yoga classes in my life and this was the first one that spoke to my soul.
Her powerful words resonated and her classes were fun and challenging. Slowly, the magic of yoga began to unlock my kinks, rebalance my body, and show me a better way to live. It woke me up and changed my perspective on life. I was energized from this new practice and I never looked back.
Today, I am physically, mentally, and emotionally stronger than I ever have been. My practice has supported me through my greatest challenges, deepest grief, and shown me the power of human connection.
Welcome to The Silhouette Yogi Studio, where we encourage you to become a more empowered expression of you.
